John Bartz
Mr.
Bartz is an Illinois Licensed Home Inspector; he has been in the
home inspection field since 1995 and has completed about 5000 home
inspections. Mr. Bartz has been a member of NAHI since 1994 and was
a founding board member of the Illinois Chapter of NAHI. He has held
teaching positions for the United States Marine Corps, PepsiCo
International and The Inspection Experts/North American Marketing
Inc. John Bartz is currently one of the principal owners of A Home
Inspector University Inc. and Home Diagnostic Services Inc. |

Rick Mattern
Mr.
Mattern is a Home Inspector University class instructor. His background
includes over 20 years as a commercial real estate engineer. Mr.
Mattern has been in the Home Inspection business since 1999. The
Chicago Tribune and the Northwest Daily Herald have recognized
his success in the home inspection industry. As a member of The
National Association of Home Inspectors he has earned the designation
of Certified Real Estate Inspector. His other credentials
include:, Illinois Licensed Home Inspector, Member of the Foundation
of Real Estate Appraisers, past two term Vice President of the
National Association of Home Inspectors - Illinois Chapter. |

John Kowalski
Mr. Kowalski has over 25 years
experience as a registered architect and is the owner of Cornerstone Residential
Inspections, Inc. He was an equity partner at OWP/P Architects, where he
designed a wide variety of building types totaling over $600 million in
construction costs. He designed and inspected his first building in 1975, and is
well versed in all building systems and components, including site design;
structural design; masonry, wood and concrete; electrical; HVAC and plumbing. In
addition to 25 years of professional design and construction experience John has
15 years of teaching experience as Director of IT at OWP/P Architects.

Allan Monat
Mr. Monat is a nationally known
educator and speaker and is held in high esteem by his peers across the United
States. Mr. Monat is the founder of Metro Real Estate Inspections, a Board
Member of the National Association of Home Inspectors, Board Member of the
Illinois Chapter of NAHI, and holds a seat on the Illinois State Home Inspector Advisory
Board. |

Tom Zidron
Mr.
Zidron, an Illinois licensed home inspector, is a graduate of Elmhurst College
with over 20 years of entrepreneurial senior management experience. Prior to
establishing Residential Inspection Specialists, he was the president of the
Streetsmart group of companies, providing outsourced training and staffing
solutions to the communications industry. |

Greg Pfauth
Mr. Pfauth has an Associate degree in Applied Science
– Electronic Systems Technology. Retired Master Sergeant, USAF
– Career military experience
conducting training in telephone, data and radio
systems.24 years experience in
telecommunications managing field technical operations. Develop and conduct company
training on basic telecom technology, power systems and safety. Certified National Safety
Council instructor since 1995.Recent experience in home inspections and development of
home inspector training. |

Kevin R. Maynard
Kevin R. Maynard, Owner/Member of Open Hearth Home
Inspection, LLC, is one of the foremost experts in the United States
in the area of log home inspections. He has built more than 50 log
homes in most states east of the Mississippi and repaired more.
Kevin has built full scribe (hand crafted), manufactured, as well as
log veneer homes, giving him intimate knowledge of log homes. Kevin
and his crew have traveled across the east coast building log homes
from Maine to Florida. As a licensed home inspector Kevin not only
has knowledge specific to log homes, he also understands the entire
building process and the components of a home. Kevin R. Maynard is a
Board Member of the International Log Builders Association. He is a
member of the Wisconsin Association of Foundation Repair
Professionals, the Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors, the
American Home Inspector Training Institute and the National
Association of Certified Home Inspectors. Kevin also participates in
the logger games to keep his skills sharp. At the 2006 conference in
Montebello, Canada he took first place in the axe throwing
competition, competing against log home builders from around the
world! |

Ronald Middleton
Mr. Middleton is currently an instructor/trainer
for Public Health and Safety, Inc., where he is the instructor
for the Asbestos Worker Course, Asbestos Supervisor Course, Lead
Base Paint Worker Course, Lead Base Paint Supervisor Course and
other related refresher courses. Ronald is IDPH Certified Asbestos
Supervisor, IDPH Certified Lead Supervisor and Lead Base Paint
Inspector. Ronald has more than 16 years of related experience
in these fields and has taught at the following other locations:
University of Illinois at Chicago, Department of Public Health
and Safety for the city of Chicago. Ronald is currently developing,
courses for Home Inspector University, which will be designed to
better educate the Professional Home Inspector in the areas of
Lead, Asbestos and Molds, as they relate to the home inspection
process.
